Amanda Hatcher

Amanda began practicing Vinyasa Yoga under the instruction of Indra King at the age of 20. It was under Indra’s guidance and encouragement that Amanda found her passion for sharing Yoga with others. In 2004 Amanda received her certification in levels 1&2 through AAAI/ISMA. In 2008 Amanda began her studies at the Asheville Yoga Center, receiving her Vinyasa Flow Certification from Asheville Yoga Center and has recently enrolled in their 500 hr. Yoga Alliance Program. Forever a student of Yoga, she continues her studies with locally known Philip Clift, as well as her Santa Monica based instructor, Bryan Kest. Though she primarily teaches Vinyasa or Power Flow classes, Amanda loves Ashtanga, Yin and Restorative Yoga practices and encourages her students to try all the different styles Yoga has to offer. Amanda is known for guiding her students with a sense of intuition and encouraging exploration of movement while utilizing gentle touch and assists in each class to create the optimal Yoga experience.
