Rachel Harper has been practicing yoga since she took her first class at age 12. Years later, she decided to deepen her practice at the Glowing Body, taking a 200 hour training and becoming certified to teach in 2016. While the physical aspect of yoga is what first drew her to the practice, she quickly discovered the mental and spiritual benefits of a regular practice. As a result, her favorite style to teach is a power flow vinyasa with a long savasana, allowing time to care for the mind as much as for the body. Aside from her yoga practice, Rachel is beginning graduate school at UT to pursue an MA in English Literature so she may one day teach in a university, as well as on the mat. When she is not in class or in the studio, she spends her time either outside, traveling, or listening to live music!
